In CrossFit, we use competition as a tool.  We start a clock, have a "scoreboard" and go all out for ourselves, our comrades and our health.  It is the ideal way to keep our spirit alive. 

Each one of us has a life worth competing for. Maybe it’s not what you want it to be right now, but that just means you need to start fighting for where you want it to go.

Maybe life’s just perfect. I promise you, it won’t stay perfect unless you compete to keep it that way. Relationships, like flowers, die without being tended to.

I want every single person in the gym to sign up for an event before the end of the year.  Whether that event is a 5k race, a Triathlon, Olympic lifting meet or one of the upcoming CrossFit Competitions.  Sometimes the goal of "just being healthier" starts to feel a little distant.  When you get into these ruts the best way to kick your own ass into gear?  Have something on the horizon.  If you need help finding something to do this Winter, talk to me during class or look under the Events tab on the right.
