This weekend I was told once again that somebody is choosing NOT to do CrossFit because "they didn't want to get bulky."  So I'm going to try and abolish this once again.  Below is a picture of an amazing athlete and beautiful woman, Lauren Plumey.

Lets look at her stats really quick:

5'8" - 131 lbs

Deadlift - 310

Clean & Jerk - 145

Max Pull-Ups - 35

By no means is she a big, though she is extremely strong.  Some may say that she is even a little "bulky" looking because she actually has abs and shoulders.  It must be remembered that she is in the middle of one of the hardest competitions she will ever be in.  When relaxed I'm willing to bet she could stand toe-to-toe with any model without thinking twice.  The perfect example of beauty in strength.  Form following function at it's finest.  Happy Monday!
