The saddest thing to see as a coach is watching an athlete defeat themselves before they even lay their hands on the bar.  No matter what you do, the voice in your head will always win.  Train yourself to think positively about your endeavors, not only feats of strength, but all of them.  Sometimes in life, success or failure is out of your control, but you ALWAYS have control over yourself and your attitude.
